The most valuable diamonds are colourless - these allow most light to pass through the stone and create the most brilliance. There is an international grading system for diamond colour, which starts at D (being the most white) and ends at Z (being the most yellow);
| D |
- Exceptionally white (the best) |
| E |
- Exceptionally white |
| F |
- Rare White |
| G |
- White |
| H |
- White |
| I |
- Slightly tinted white |
| J |
- Slightly tinted white |
At DeJoria, we only use the top 20% of available diamonds from around the world. Therefore, diamonds with a colour grade of less than J are rejected.
