Answer: Platinum is extremely popular for diamond engagement rings at the moment as it is the most pure, durable and heavy, and therefore it provides the most secure setting for diamonds. In the case of this diamond engagement ring, we would certainly recommend platinum if your budget allows - it is worth the additional investment.
