More Information About Wedding Rings
The giving of wedding rings between two people on their wedding day is a well-worn tradition.
The most traditional of all wedding rings is the D-shaped wedding ring, named "D" due to its domed profile on the outer surface. In recent years, there has been enormous growth in the variety of wedding ring profiles available on the market, as fashions for both men and women have changed and so profiles such as Court, Flat and Concave wedding rings are now also commonplace.
Mens wedding rings are most often either 4mm, 5mm or 6mm in width, whilst ladies wedding rings will typically be a similar width to her diamond engagement ring. In term of wedding ring production, wedding rings are generally available in all the jewellery precious metals of hallmarked 18kt white gold, 18kt yellow gold, 18kt rose gold, palladium and platinum, offering consumers the complete spectrum of choice. Wedding rings, compared to their diamond ring counterparts, are straightforward to purchase, as it is often not a purchase which has to be made in secret.
Consumers simply need to decide upon their preferred profile, metal, width and finger size. It is the combination of all these factors which determines the metal weight and, therefore, the overall price of wedding rings. Furthermore, due to the fact that wedding rings do not generally contain diamonds, the delivery time is normally much quicker, as no diamonds need to be set. Not having diamonds inset into wedding rings means that engraving on the inside of the ring is straightforward, with many consumers choosing to have a simple message such as "I love you" , the date of their wedding, or even respective nicknames, for example, engraved on to the inside of their wedding rings. That said, it is becoming increasingly popular for wedding rings to be diamond set, often tailored to individual requirements.
The choice of wedding rings at DeJoria Diamonds is unrivalled, offering all the different profiles available and, therefore, enabling the consumer to make an informed decision.
