Although the Oscars are over, the jewels that the red carpet stars were flaunting are still left sparkling in many people’s minds, especially diamond jewellery fans. Of course, the event is well known as a place to show off diamond jewellery and many took the opportunity to display some exquisite pieces. One of the best examples is Oscar nominee, Kate Winslet.

The Academy Award winner wore a bold, stunning necklace made of yellow and white diamonds. Winslet’s astounding gemstone complemented the actress’s outfit extremely well, causing delight amongst fashion enthusiasts all over the world. The large diamond pendant that hung delicately around Winslet’s neck was one of the most glamorous pieces of jewellery seen on the star studded night and indeed, on many Oscar nights past.

The pendant Winslet wore at the Oscars reminded many of another spectacular diamond the actress once wore before- The Heart of the Ocean, from her Oscar-nominated movie Titanic.

The Oscars set the stage for some other serious diamond jewellery display this year, as many other popular names were photographed flaunting heavy bold diamond necklaces besides the Titanic star. Amongst them was the always on-trend Nicole Kidman, as well as Jennifer Garner, Goldie Hawn and Amy Adams.
