In recent weeks, a young man who unfortunately lost a diamond engagement ring which he had purchased for his fiancée was helped in the recovery of the ring by a Harley Davidson bike rider.
Tyler Jones, who is 23-year-old, had placed the diamond engagement ring on the bonnet of his car and drove away forgetting he had put it there reported the Associated Press. Tyler was on his way to propose to his girlfriend and after he realised the ring was missing, he was almost ready to give up hope.
Monte Kirk was riding past on his Harley Davidson and spotted the diamond ring lying on the road which he promptly picked up and placed in his pocket so he could locate the owner.
Monte Kirk along with his wife Debbie read the newspapers looking for any advertisements stating that a diamond ring had been lost and eventually they spotted the advert which Tyler Jones had placed. Tyler, since placing the advert in the paper, had decided to buy another diamond engagement ring for his partner Amanda Anderson.
Tyler’s mother, Karen Jones commented:
“He suddenly brought out the ring from behind his back and I just started bawling. I asked him to follow me over to the bank to give him the reward. He wouldn`t accept the reward, though.”
