Halle Berry was photographed last year at the 60th Golden Globe Awards in an absolutely show stopping icy blue gown which was enhanced with $5 million worth of white and blue diamonds. She wore a 26 carat blue and white diamond ring and a 30 carat pear-shaped diamond pendant.
Catherine Zeta Jones was photographed at the same event wearing an extremely large diamond choker which was simply stunning. Bonnie Hunt wore Harry Winston diamond jewellery in the form of a $30K flower diamond bracelet and a pair of $40K diamond earrings. Wearing Chopard jewellery, Queen Latifa wore a 73 carat diamond necklace with matching diamond earrings. The classic Hollywood style of elaborate diamond jewellery was followed by many other stars such as Jennifer Aniston who wore diamond drop earrings and Carol Burnett who was proudly sporting a diamond pin bow tie.
$1 million dollar diamond Oscar shoes - In 2002 The Oscars saw Mulholland Drive’s Laura Elena Herring wearing $1 million dollar diamond shoes from the designer Stuart Weitzman. These shoes contained 464 diamonds in spun platinum. The largest diamonds in the design were two five carat pear shaped diamond stones and two rounded diamonds that were 1.5 carats each. The idea behind the design of the shoes is whether they are worn or not by the owner, the jewels can be converted to diamond bracelets, drop earrings and diamond necklaces.
