Diamond Ring Found By Woman After Having Been Missing For 20 Years

Janice Amos was a lady who thought she would never see her diamond ring again having not seen it for 20 years, however, this week she was reunited with the very piece of jewellery that had gone missing at the end of the Eighties.

Apparently, Janice Amos managed to lose what was supposed to be a ‘promise ring’ on Christmas Day in 1989. She had searched everywhere for the diamond ring and after exhausting all her efforts she had to accept that the item could not be found and was therefore lost forever. Both Janice and her mother in law assumed that the ring had fallen into a cardboard box with ripped wrapping paper and had been thrown away by mistake.

After twenty years of not having her diamond ring which her now husband had given to her on that Christmas Day all those years ago, some builders who were carrying out work on the couple’s home found it lying near some brickwork.

Janice Amos said to her local newspaper: "I couldn`t believe it. I couldn`t wait to see it."
